Vanessa Kreckel founded Two Paperdolls in 2001, designing custom wedding invitations for local clients. Over a decade later, she had built a team of designers, web developers, and letterpress printers. TPD, as clients referred to us, became a full-service graphic design and letterpress studio, specializing in luxury invitations, corporate branding, web development, and letterpress printing.

By 2014, Two Paperdolls had outgrown its name. (After all, there were about 15 of us!) Its capabilities had far surpassed the invitations it became known for, and Vanessa no longer felt the name accurately reflected her company. A total name change was out of the question, so the solution was a new brand identity that emphasized the abbreviated name TPD, as well as clarified our services.
